Company Background
Greenscene Arboriculture Ltd is based in the Hawke�s Bay and has been providing excellence in tree care for over seven years. Whilst the company is young, our experience goes far beyond this. Rob Nicholls, director, has spent his entire career working with trees, initially 1989 in forestry. He attained his National Certificate in Forest Harvesting (1998) and then later in the UK extended his expertise to arboriculture. There he studied and completed two certificates in arboriculture (Capel Manor and Merristwood) including the Royal Forestry Society Certificate in Arboriculture.
Working as Operations Manager for London�s largest urban-based arboricultural contractors, City Suburban Tree Surgeons, Rob managed the contracts of five London boroughs and was privileged to work on many of the majestic amenity trees throughout the great city. He bought back to New Zealand a bounty of knowledge and with the support of his family started Greenscene Arboriculture Ltd.
Rob is also a NZHITO workplace assessor to the industry, which allows our staff to utilise the Modern Day Apprenticeship scheme and become skilled and qualified arborists.
